3 Incantation Bowls
You need to read about these things
...
Clay bowls inscribed with spiralling Dervish text, often with a depiction of a preistess at the centre. In a market, around 10% of these are nonfunctioning forgeries with nonsense script peddled by illiterate scribes.
- Spirit Trap. Buried near the four corners of a home or grave. Incorporeal undead and elementals are drawn to the bowls and to read the spiraling incantations, becoming trapped in the bowl. Breaking or turning over the bowl releases the spirits inside.
- Barrier Amulet. Similar to a protection scroll, though its text reappears each dawn. Can be broken to deal 1d6 damage to all creatures of the target type within 20', pushing them back 10' per point of damage.
Target: 1. Insects, 2. Beasts, 3. Humanoids, 4. Demihumans, 5. Men, 6. Undead - Meditation Labyrinth. A clerical spell incantation is written in a labyrinth in such a way that reading the text opens the reader's mind enough to memorize it regardless of their class. For each hour of study, roll 1d20. If you roll your wisdom or less, prepare the associated spell. The bowl cannot be used until the next dawn.
