Fairy Poker
Components
- Bag of seeds. Three painted gold, nine painted red, twenty-seven painted white
- Cup for each player (Half walnut shells are traditional)
How to Play
Each round all players pay in evenly to make a pot of 60 goblin teeth1.
Players take turns drawing seeds out of the bag, taking as many as they like, putting them under their cup.
When the bag is empty, everyone points to the player they think has the most seeds. They cannot point to themself.
Everyone who guessed correctly gains 1 tooth per white seed they have and 2 teeth per red seed. The player with the most teeth scores in the same manner unless everyone identified them as having the most.
Any remaining teeth in the pot are split between players with gold seeds, proportional to the number of gold seeds they have (a player with 2 gold seeds gets 2/3rds of the leftover teeth.

Fairies accept silver pieces 1:1 with goblin teeth because they know they can perform a currency conversion with them, i.e. distract a goblin with the silver so the fairies can hit it in the head with sticks until teeth come out.↩
