Villagetober Art Prompts
Starting today I'm taking a break from daily blogging to instead draw an illustration every day. As you do. I will be drawing a selection of mundane human NPC portraits.
I've rolled 31 entries from the D820 city encounter table in the Rules Cyclopedia, and paired each with a random omen from Scrapworld's excellent Displacerklaus Omen List which really should have been in my Old Blog Post list.
I rerolled Demihumans. I considered rerolling sex workers, but that felt worse, so they're in there. I'm not sure what to do with the omens, I think they'll usually wind up as a motif or focal point on the character's clothing or background.
The drawings will be going up on my Bluesky feed. I'll still be blogging here once per week.
