Eicko Comes of Age, by Akmunbee The Gruff
A stack of three porcelain panels. Written in poetic Caveman runes, it tells the story of a folk hero's first adventure. In it he encounters a witch who has a bone needle she can use to shrink, a farmer who tends trees which flower with the finest clothes, and the city of Teeamaroy where the river's water keeps men young for centuries. There is a detailed map of Eiko's journey, if compared to a modern map of known lands, the valley of Teeamaroy is now a mountain. A valuable historical work, sought after by scholars.

Untitled Architectural Sketchbook
A dusty, tin-bound tome with fine vellum pages, its cover is embossed with leafless trees. A pocket in the inside cover holds three charcoal sticks, and a ruler, protractor and triangle. Its pages contain a series of woodcut prints of progressively unhinged designs for abattoirs. A menacing presence peers out from the shadows in each page. The reader has a 1-in-6 chance per day of encountering an invisible stalker for the next week.

Tale For Kounev, by Unknown Author
A codex with a wax cover and good quality silk pages. Its cover is engraved with a scene of a young woman being carried off by water spirits while her husband sleeps. The text is written in a formal Pirate script and describes a failed expedition for God's Tear, a gemstone said to have fallen from the sky, supposedly able to cure any curse. The epilogue describes the hardships of the crew after their misadventure -- Their ship sank, many of them were affected by plague, and the captain's wife had disappeared in his absence -- and several possible sites where the tear might actually be found. A legendary work thought by some to be a mere rumour.

Melancholy Codex by Iglemsusshal The Remorseless
A codex bound in rich purple-dyed leather, with wool paper pages alternating white and purple. Written in sacred Bandit script in silver ink, this prayer book contains a dozen entreaties to indifferent gods to instill ever greater misery on the author's oppressors. It is an interesting historical piece.

Bransil And Beemar, by Ramdor The Furtive
A codex with a creased skin cover and masterwork silk pages. It is a brief dialectic in Buccaneer runes where two old salts argue about the best shortsword fighting styles. It has gained some value since being declared heretical due to a mistranslation of the word "Balestra".

Secrets of the Wise by Eka The Archaic
A wooden scroll case with a hand-cranked winder. The scroll is of good quality canvas, illustrated with long, winding dragons. The florid Common script forms a hypnotically thrumming nonsense lyric that snakes in an eternal mobius loop, compelling the reader to stand in on spot, reading forever, requiring a save vs paralysis after each hour of reading.
